Abstract

This research aims to examine the impact of entrepreneurship in the private educational sector of LashkarGah city on the economic development of Helmand Province. The significance of this study lies in the fact that the growing trend of the private educational sector plays a fundamental role not only in the development of education and training but also in job creation, increasing family incomes, and overall enhancing the GDP of countries. Afghanistan, as a developing country, has a pressing need for scientific and socio-economic activities, and the private educational sector can play a significant role in this regard. To achieve the objectives of this study, a stratified random sampling method was employed, and the necessary information collected from academic, nonacademic staff and some students of private universities, institutes, and schools in LashkarGah city. The results of this research, clearly discussed here, remarkably demonstrate the economic and social impact of the private educational sector in LashkarGah City and overall Helmand Province and across the country. Based on the findings of this study, several recommendations have been drown regarding potential solutions that may assist in understanding the various dimensions of the relationship between the private educational sector and economic growth in.
