Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Blockholder Ownership, Firm Size and Risk Management on Financial Distress in mining sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This research uses secondary data and obtained through annual reports published by the company on its official website. The method used in the sampling process is the purposive sampling method. The sample in this study used mining sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2021-2023 period. The data analysis method used in testing the hypothesis in this study is the Multiple Linear Regression method using SPSS 25 software. The results of the study show that: (1) Blockholder Ownership has a negatif and significant effect on Financial Distress, (2) Firm Size has positive effect but not significant on Financial Distress, (3) Risk Management has a negative and significant effect on Financial Distress.
