Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that affect Halal Supply Chain Management on the operational performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) salons in Yogyakarta City. The main focus of the research lies in the three main dimensions in halal supply chain management, namely Technology (X1), Organization (X2), and Environment (X3), as well as their influence on operational performance (Y). The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach, with sampling techniques using the purposive sampling method. The sample consisted of 96 respondents who are salon MSME business actors in Yogyakarta City who have applied halal principles in their operations. Data collection was carried out through the distribution of questionnaires with the Likert scale, and the data obtained were analyzed using multiple linear regression methods. The purpose of the analysis was to test the partial and simultaneous influence of the three independent variables on the dependent variables. The results of the analysis showed that the Technology variable (X1) did not have a significant positive influence on operational performance (Y). Meanwhile, the variables Organizational (X2) and Environment (X3) have been proven to have a positive and significant influence on the operational performance (Y) of halal salon MSMEs. These findings indicate that although technology is important in supply chain management, the role of an effective organization and external environmental support are more dominant in determining the operational performance of halal-based MSMEs. Therefore, to improve the effectiveness of the halal supply chain and overall operational performance, MSME actors need to pay more attention to strengthening internal organizational structures and the involvement of environmental factors such as regulations, community support, and halal networks. This research provides practical contributions for MSME actors and stakeholders in developing an effective and sustainable halal supply chain management strategy.
