Abstract

Digital transformation has significantly reshaped business models and managerial practices, particularly in platform-based digital transportation companies. Advances in information technology have enabled digital transportation firms to operate through sharing economy models that rely on technological integration, strategic management, and adaptive human resource management. This study aims to analyze the implications of management science for the operation and sustainability of digital transportation companies in the context of digital transformation in Indonesia. The research employs a literature review method by examining relevant academic sources, including books, national and international journal articles, and institutional reports related to strategic management, digital business platforms, sharing economy, and digital human resource management. The findings indicate that the success of digital transportation companies is strongly influenced by their ability to integrate business strategies, leverage digital platform technologies, optimize sharing economy models, and manage human resources based on digital competencies. Effective application of management principles enables companies to enhance operational efficiency, expand service coverage, maintain service quality, and sustain competitiveness in a rapidly changing business environment. The implications of this study highlight the importance of a holistic and adaptive managerial approach as a foundation for strategic decision-making in digital transportation companies, while also providing conceptual insights for policy development and future research in the fields of management and digital transportation.
