Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to develop a web-based Sales Activity Monitoring system integrated with big data and the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method as a solution to the limitations of sales monitoring systems that still rely on simple applications. The research background is driven by the company’s need to improve operational efficiency, reporting accuracy, and strategic decision-making effectiveness in managing sales activities. The research method applies the Extreme Programming (XP) approach, which involves planning, design, coding, and testing phases. The research object is the Sales Division of PT Suryamas Lumisindo Dwidaya, with data collected through observation, interviews, and literature study. The findings indicate that the developed system can facilitate real-time sales activity recording, provide sales performance reports, and deliver prioritized customer visit recommendations using the SAW method. The integration of big data enhances the speed and accuracy of data analysis, enabling management to gain deeper insights in determining sales strategies. The implication of this research is the availability of a monitoring system that improves transparency, efficiency, and sales team performance while also contributing to the development of data-driven information systems to support sales management.
