Abstract

Teacher-centered learning processes result in suboptimal student engagement, which negatively impacts learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the effect of implementing a Padlet-based Jigsaw cooperative learning model on the learning outcomes of eleventh-grade students at SMA Negeri 4 Tasikmalaya during the 2025/2026 academic year in Economics. This study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research sample was divided into two groups: the experimental class (using the Padlet-based Jigsaw model) and the control class (using conventional learning). Data were collected through pretest and posttest instruments, and subsequently analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, Paired Sample t-tests, and Independent Sample t-tests. The results indicated that both classes experienced an increase in learning outcomes. However, the improvement in the experimental class was significantly higher than that in the control class. Consequently, the implementation of the Padlet-based Jigsaw cooperative learning model is proven to be effective in improving student learning outcomes.
