Abstract

Fuzzy control technique is an alternative controller that uses human logic, it does not require knowledge of the parameters of the system. Fuzzy control techniques also have lightweight computation capabilities. So a fuzzy logic control system design tool is designed on a hybrid power coffee dryer. The goal is to make a device that regulates the temperature in the oven of a coffee dryer and observes the performance of fuzzy controls. By adjusting the gas valve opening and valve exchaust. From the results of this study, the setpoint data obtained is 70, then the 31st angle gas servo opening is in the open status and the 0th angle sevo fan opening is in the closed status. If the temperature reaches a set point of 70 then the gas servo valve is closed 80 and the servo fan is open 60. From the no-load control step test, this response appears by testing the control system on the coffee dryer with a set point of 70. mean MAE (mean absolute error) on average 0.11% and mean RMSE (root mean square error) 1.01%, time constant t = 5.67 minutes, rise time r = 2.1 minutes and setting time s = 9, 55 minutes.
