Abstract

In the process of making coffee powder, many occupational health problems are found such as working with a standing work attitude for hours, constant hand movements stirring coffee which is carried out more than 8 hours a day and workers are exposed to exposure to hot temperatures derived from the coffee powder making process. This study is to determine the relationship between internal and external factors of musculoskeletal disorders and work fatigue. In this study using a quantitative research design with a cross-sectional analytical approach, sampling techniques in this study used the technique of total sampling, total 15 workers, the data collected in the form of primary data and conducted univariate analysis tests and bivariate analysis with the Chi-square test to find relationships. It was found that musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) and work fatigue were significantly higher in age, length of service, length of work, rest period, workload and work posture, whereas work fatigue was significantly higher in age, length of service and smoking status. Conclusion: respondents' internal and external factors were associated with musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) and work fatigue in coffee powder making workers
