Abstract

A holistic approach in the rehabilitation of victims of trafficking in persons plays an important role in restoring the physical, psychological, social, and economic conditions of victims. This research aims to explore the effectiveness of this approach in creating a holistic rehabilitation, based on national regulations such as Law No. 21 of 2007 and Law No. 35 of 2014. The research method applies a literature study approach by analyzing laws, rules, and norms. Data was collected from various sources such as books, journals, and regulations. The results show that a holistic approach has a significant impact on victim recovery, especially through the integration of services such as psychological counseling, job skills training, and economic empowerment. Cross-sector collaboration between the government, non-government organizations, and local communities is a key factor in the success of this approach. Findings also show the importance of reducing social stigma against victims to support their reintegration into society. In conclusion, a holistic approach not only helps victims recover individually but also promotes the prevention of re-exploitation. Further synergy between related sectors as well as continuous evaluation is needed to ensure the sustainability of this rehabilitation program.
