Abstract

Endometriosis stands as one of the most complex, pervasive, and physically taxing conditions encountered in modern gynecological medicine. Clinically, it is fundamentally defined and recognized as a chronic, estrogen-dependent inflammatory disease. The defining pathological hallmark of this condition—the insidious and aberrant growth of endometrial-like tissue outside the normal confines of the uterine cavity—sets into motion a relentless cycle of physiological disruption. Patients suffering from this disease frequently present with a debilitating complaint, such as severe symptoms, most notably persistent pelvic pain, intense dysmenorrhea, and painful dyspareunia. Furthermore, the disease is intricately and tragically linked to profound infertility challenges, a culmination of factors that lead to a severely impaired overall quality of life for the affected individuals.
