Abstract

This study examines juvenile delinquency manifested in mass fighting from a criminological perspective, focusing on its causes, contributing factors, and prevention strategies. The findings reveal that mass fighting behavior among adolescents is primarily influenced by internal factors such as emotional instability, lack of self-control, and identity crisis, as well as external factors including family dysfunction, negative peer influence, school environment, and broader social conditions. Additionally, exposure to violence, urban social pressures, and misguided peer solidarity further intensify the likelihood of such behavior. The impact of mass fighting is significantly detrimental, causing physical harm, psychological distress, and social disruption, affecting not only the individuals involved but also the community and public order. Therefore, comprehensive efforts are required to address this issue, including preventive measures through family guidance, character education in schools, and social awareness programs, as well as repressive actions through law enforcement when necessary, in order to reduce juvenile delinquency and promote positive youth development.
