Abstract

Juvenile delinquency in the form of mass fights represents a significant social problem that reflects complex interactions between individual and environmental factors. This study aims to examine the causes, contributing factors, and control measures of mass fighting behavior among adolescents from a criminological perspective. The results indicate that such behavior is influenced by internal factors, including low self-control, emotional instability, and identity confusion, as well as external factors such as family disharmony, negative peer influence, school environment, and social conditions within the community. Furthermore, the influence of media violence, urban life pressures, and misinterpreted peer solidarity often intensify the occurrence of mass fights. These behaviors result in serious negative consequences, including physical injuries, psychological trauma, and disruption of social order. Therefore, effective control measures are required through preventive approaches such as strengthening family roles, enhancing moral and character education, and increasing social awareness, alongside repressive measures through the enforcement of legal sanctions when necessary, in order to minimize juvenile delinquency and promote constructive behavior among adolescents.
