Abstract

Juvenile delinquency in the form of mass fighting is a complex social phenomenon influenced by various interconnected factors. This study aims to review the causes, influencing factors, and intervention strategies related to mass fighting among adolescents from a criminological perspective. The findings show that internal factors such as weak self-control, emotional instability, and the search for identity contribute significantly to such behavior, while external factors including family dysfunction, peer pressure, school environment, and broader social conditions further exacerbate the problem. In addition, the influence of violent media, social inequality, and urban lifestyle pressures often encourage the emergence of aggressive group behavior among adolescents. Mass fighting not only results in physical injuries but also creates psychological, social, and legal consequences that affect individuals and society as a whole. Therefore, effective interventions are required through preventive efforts such as strengthening family supervision, enhancing educational roles in character building, and promoting positive social values, as well as repressive measures through the application of legal sanctions to deter future misconduct, in order to reduce juvenile delinquency and foster responsible behavior among youth.
