Abstract

Improving employee performance is a primary objective for organizations seeking to maintain competitiveness and sustainability. This study aims to examine the influence of work discipline, compensation, and work environment on employee performance at PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, Medan City Hall Area. The research adopts a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis to evaluate the relationships between the independent and dependent variables. The sample consists of 40 employees selected using a census sampling method. Data collection was conducted through direct field surveys and supported by a review of relevant literature, while data analysis was performed using SPSS version 23. The results of the study indicate that work discipline, compensation, and work environment have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, both partially and simultaneously. The statistical findings are supported by the F-test, which confirms the overall model significance, and a high coefficient of determination, indicating that the independent variables strongly explain variations in employee performance. These findings emphasize the importance of integrating effective human resource management practices, particularly in maintaining discipline, designing fair compensation systems, and creating a supportive work environment. It is recommended that organizations continuously improve these aspects to achieve better performance outcomes.
