Abstract

Inventory management is one of the important aspects in supporting the smooth operation of a business. However, Café Ragam Ide still manages its inventory manually, which often causes various problems, such as data recording errors, delays in updating stock information, and difficulties in monitoring inventory in real time. These conditions may lead to discrepancies between recorded stock data and actual inventory levels, potentially disrupting business operations. This study aims to design and develop a web-based inventory information system to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of inventory management at Café Ragam Ide. The research employed the Agile Scrum methodology due to its flexible and iterative approach, enabling the system to adapt to user requirements throughout the development process. The research stages included problem identification, data collection through observation, interviews, and literature studies, system design, system implementation, and system testing. The system was developed using the Laravel framework and MySQL database. Black Box Testing was utilized as the testing technique to ensure that all system functions operated according to user requirements. The results indicate that the web-based inventory information system was successfully designed and implemented. The system is capable of supporting inventory data management, goods receipt and issuance transactions, stock monitoring, and inventory reporting in a more effective and integrated manner. Furthermore, the Black Box Testing results demonstrate that all system features function properly and meet the operational requirements of users.
