Abstract

This study aims to analyze literacy-oriented learning in strengthening 21st-century skills in high school students. The study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The subjects consisted of teachers and high school students involved in the literacy-oriented learning process. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that literacy-oriented learning can support the strengthening of students' 21st-century skills, such as critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity. Furthermore, the implementation of literacy learning also increases students' active participation in the learning process. However, several obstacles to its implementation exist, such as limited learning media, low literacy interest among some students, and limited learning time. Therefore, innovative learning strategies and school support are needed to optimize the implementation of literacy-oriented learning in high schools.
