Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of using computer-based learning media (video techniques) compared to conventional methods in enhancing the activeness, process understanding, and learning motivation of third-grade students at SDN 2 Muara Beliti in basic football (soccer) material. This research employed a descriptive method with a quantitative approach and a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population and sample of the study were all 22 students in the third grade of SDN 2 Muara Beliti. Data were collected through process observation and a student response questionnaire. The analysis results of the observation data showed that the sample student, Amar, achieved the highest total percentage of activeness and process understanding at 78.0%. Meanwhile, the student response questionnaire results indicated a very good acceptance level, with 81.82% of students stating they were "happy" with learning using computer-based media. The study concludes that computer-based media is highly effective in increasing motivation and providing a strong visual memory (through slow motion and replayability features) that is crucial for minimizing basic movement errors in third-grade elementary school students.
