Abstract

Amidst the ever-changing times, education focuses not only on understanding material but also on fostering creativity, critical thinking skills, technological proficiency, collaboration abilities, and adaptability to societal developments. This study is important to investigate further because it aims to understand how the implementation of liberation education in the era of deep learning can be successful. This study aims to examine liberation education and deep learning, the implementation of liberation education in the deep learning era, and the challenges and solutions in implementing deep learning. This research combines survey methods with a descriptive quantitative research design. Data collection was carried out using two main techniques: questionnaire distribution and literature study. The research findings indicate that deep learning-based liberation education fosters critical thinking and active student engagement, with the teacher serving as a facilitator. Ideal education, according to respondents, emphasizes a deep understanding of concepts, critical thinking, and reflection. Digital technology plays an important role in supporting this learning. The main challenges include limited facilities, learning time, school and government support, and the need for teacher training. Although there are still challenges in implementing Liberation Education in the era of deep learning, its successful application requires collaboration between teachers, students, educational institutions, the government, and technology providers.
