Abstract

The Consumptive Culture of Teenaged-students in Three Metropolitan Coastal Cities in Indonesia. The study tried to obtain a narrative description of students‟ thought patterns on their consumptive behaviors and the work ethos in self-management relating to their consumptive motives. It was conducted using focused ethnography on senior high school students in three Indonesian coastal metropolitan cities. A self-assisted book was constructed based on the result of the study to increase students awareness of their” budgeting intelligence and their local wisdom.
