Abstract

In supporting the process of industrialization, not only solutions using exact sciences through the application of technology is needed, but the process of industrialization itself has its social and cultural aspect. In other words, cultural potencies are able to promote the process of industrialization, and in turn they can be enhanced by education. What is meant by cultural potencies are mental readiness, discipline, work ethics, meticulousness, and cooperativeness that are supportive elements in the process of industrialization.
