Abstract

This article discusses the nature of modernity, modernization, and the history of modernization in the western world. This article was written based on extracts from several books and articles that discuss this. Modernization is a way or lifestyle that is in accordance with the current developments. Modernization can be defined as a condition or process of changing from an era that is not yet advanced or traditional that relies more on muscle strength to something that is more advanced oe modern that relies on the power of thinking rationally.
