Abstract

The daily lives of teenagers in the modern era are often faced with various moral and ethical challenges. In this context, the role of guidance and counseling has an important role in forming teenagers with Islamic morals. This article explains how guidance and counseling can be an effective means of helping teenagers internalize Islamic values ​​in their daily actions. Through a holistic approach, guidance and counseling can help teenagers overcome moral conflicts, undergo a process of self-understanding, and develop a commitment to Islamic ethical principles. The use of counseling methods that are in accordance with Islamic values ​​and close collaboration between counselor teachers, parents and religious communities will help teenagers become individuals with Islamic morals in interacting with the world around them

Abstract

This article examines the interpretation of Surah An-Nahl verse 97 in the context of gender equality within Islam. It addresses the prevailing discourse on gender discrimination, particularly against women, and examines whether Islamic teachings support or challenge gender equality. The study finds that Islam provides a strong foundation for equal rights and responsibilities for all individuals, emphasizing that both men and women will receive rewards for their good deeds. Through a literature review and interpretive analysis of classical and contemporary Qur'an tafseer, this study highlights the importance of Surah An-Nahl in advocating for gender equality and illustrates that historical Islamic figures exemplify women's active roles in society. The findings advocate for a contemporary understanding of Islamic teachings to combat gender discrimination and promote women's empowerment in modern contexts.
