Abstract

As muslims,it is an obligation to pay zakat.Because, zakat is a fardhu worship and is included in the third pillar of islam. Apart from prayer, zakat is a form of workship that brings you closer to Allah SWT.And can help fellow people in the continuation of life. Zakat is divided into two,namely,Zakat Mal(Zakat on Assets) which is issued when it has reached the nishab and Zakat Fitrah(Zakat of the body) which is issued once a year at the end of the month of ramadhan. For this reason,Zakat fitrah is prescribed as self-purification and to help avooid islam on the day of fitr to beg. However,in the current context of issuing Zakat, many people use cash zakat(money)
