Abstract

This research is motivated by an increase in the number of cases of early marriage in Indonesia. This shows the lack of public knowledge about the rules between early marriage in the Islamic religion and its impact on health. According to health ethics, early marriage can cause pregnancies that have negative impacts on women's health, such as infections in the womb, premature births, deaths in mothers and babies, and stunting. The aim of this research is to determine the impact of early marriage on women's health from the perspective of health ethics and Islam. This research was carried out using the Library Research method, namely collecting data by reading literature and everything related to the object of discussion. The research results show that due to a lack of understanding from society, many young couples experience health problems, especially women. In Islam, early marriage is permitted under certain conditions, namely reaching maturity and being able to do so. However, this does not mean that this is absolutely permitted for all women in every situation because some women have several conditions that require them not to marry at an early age
