Abstract

Business is an important part of economic activity and plays an important role in meeting human needs. Currently, many businesses are conducted in inappropriate ways, while Muslims are encouraged to earn halal sustenance. In Islam, business is defined as an effort to obtain halal income to meet needs by ensuring that business people receive sustenance that is blessed by Allah SWT. Islamic business is divided into two areas, namely the basic principles established by the Koran and Sunnah, as well as concepts that develop along with science. The working principles of business in Islam emphasize justice and mutual benefit, and require every individual to be fair in the world of work and business. This article will discuss the principles, provisions and concepts of business from an Islamic perspective.
