Abstract

This article embarks on an exploration of the nuanced interplay between the timeless wisdom of religious teachings and the dynamic advancements of modern science within the realm of Islamic education. It intricately examines the challenges that arise and the potential opportunities that emerge from the endeavor to integrate these two spheres of knowledge. Through an exhaustive literature analysis methodology drawing from contemporary and relevant journals, the study endeavors to unravel the complexities inherent in this integration process. Despite encountering formidable obstacles along the path, the research findings unveil a horizon of promise, suggesting the possibility of forging a comprehensive and adaptable Islamic education curriculum tailored to meet the exigencies of the contemporary world. Beyond merely identifying the impediments, the article offers a plethora of insightful recommendations aimed at surmounting these challenges, accompanied by a delineation of pragmatic strategies for their effective implementation. Thus, it not only serves as a scholarly inquiry but also as a practical roadmap for navigating the intricate terrain of reconciling tradition with modernity within Islamic pedagogy, thereby fostering a harmonious synthesis of knowledge systems.
