Abstract

Sports hijab is a type of hijab that is specifically designed for use by Muslimah athletes in various types of sports. Sports hijab is designed to be comfortable and safe to use during physical activity, while still maintaining honour and modesty for hijab users. Sports hijab is available in various designs and materials that are suitable for various types of sports, such as running, swimming, tennis, and so on. Sports hijab also promotes gender equality in the world of sports and provides opportunities for Muslimah athletes to participate in sports without having to sacrifice their religious beliefs. The use of sports hijab has also been regulated in the rules of international sports organisations, so Muslimah athletes who wear sports hijab can participate in international events without any obstacles. The use of sports hijab has become a global trend that is increasingly widespread and recognised, and has become a symbol of the struggle for equality and freedom of sport for Muslimah athletes
