Abstract

. Muscle pain is a pain sensation that can be caused by various factors. The treatment of muscle pain can be done with cupping which the treatment methods involve the placement of cups on the skin to create negative pressure and to extract toxins. This research was conducted using a literature review method, which involves collecting, reading, and recording data from various sources. There is dry cupping which is done by placing a cup to the skin, while wet cupping involves making incisions in the skin to allow blood to be drawn into the cup. Cupping has been effectively used for various medical conditions, including musculoskeletal pain, migraines, hypertension, and many more
