Abstract

Listening to children is a form of love and attention that can be given by parents. By listening to children, parents can understand children's feelings and needs. This is important to help children manage their emotions. In Islam, listening to children is also a form of character education. Parents who listen to children will teach children to be valued and respected. This will make children feel safe and comfortable to express their feelings. There are several ways that parents can listen to their children, namely: Pay attention to the child attentively, do not interrupt when the child is talking, do not judge or blame the child, show empathy and understanding, provide support and guidance, by listening to children, parents can help children manage their emotions in a healthy way. This will make children grow into emotionally healthy individuals who are able to adapt to their environment.
