Abstract

The Islamic view of women's sportswear is a combination of religious values, modesty and health. Although there are no specific rules in the Koran regarding sportswear, Islamic principles emphasize the importance of maintaining one's private parts, avoiding excessive luxury, and maintaining modesty in dress. In a sports context, the clothing chosen must allow women to move freely, maintain comfort, and respect religious values. This means choosing clothes that are not tight, not transparent, and not flashy. Apart from that, choosing sportswear must also take into account health factors, such as materials that are breathable and comfortable to wear during physical activity. Thus, the Islamic view of women's sportswear emphasizes harmony between religious values, modesty and health in every aspect of life, including sports. This article explains the Islamic religious view of permitted sportswear, sportswear standards that comply with Islamic law, and examples of sportswear that meets these standards. The purpose of this article is to provide clear and comprehensive information to readers who want to choose sportswear that is in accordance with Islamic teachings.
