Abstract

Hajj is an obligation that must be performed by a Muslim because it is relatively expensive and drains a lot of energy. In performing Hajj and Umrah, there are conditions and pillars that must be met. If one of the conditions or pillars of Hajj is not fulfilled, then it can cause the Hajj or Umrah to be invalid. One of the pillars of Hajj that must be fulfilled in a pure state of hadats major and minor hadats is tawaf ifadhah. For women who are in a productive period, menstruation is their biggest challenge in order to be able to perform worship to the maximum. Along with the development of technology, science has discovered menstrual cycle regulating drugs that can delay and speed up menstruation that can be used so that women's Hajj remains valid and maximal. This caused a lot of discussion about the law of using the menstrual delay medicine. Basic understanding of the evidence and opinions of the scholars regarding the law on the use of menstrual delay drugs can be instructions on what to do about the problem.
