Abstract

Politics is a social activity created to uphold regulations within the scope of territorial communities, especially in the context of religion. Politics is used and maintained for communal living, such as forming shared policies involving various activities. Typically, in human nature, individuals have faith in the God who created them, which leads to religious beliefs. Among the six religions in Indonesia, Islam is the majority religion in the country. What is the influence of politics in the views and history of Islam? In Islamic teachings, politics has been utilized since the time Islam was revealed to regulate the details of communal life within a nation and a state. Islamic teachings encompass all aspects of life in a positive manner. Many people still assume that political science is a dirty science. However, according to Islamic teachings, political science is a noble science. This underlies the research on the influence of politics in the perspective of Islam. The purpose is to show the public that politics is a noble science. The method used involves questionnaires and surveys directed at several informants.
