Abstract

Generation Z, raised in the digital era with unlimited access to information and social media, faces unique and complex mental health challenges. They are prone to social pressure, anxiety, and low self-esteem due to constant self-comparison in the online world. This article aims to identify mental health management strategies for Gen Z from an Islamic perspective, exploring how Islamic approaches can provide relevant solutions to the social and emotional pressures they encounter. The research method used is a library research, examining recent studies from 2019 to 2024, including research journals, books, and scholarly articles. The findings indicate that Islam offers a holistic approach that integrates spiritual values, such as taqarrub (closeness to Allah), tawakkul (trust in God), patience, and gratitude, which serve as emotional support and moral guidance for Gen Z. These strategies are proven to be effective in maintaining mental and spiritual balance, helping them manage pressures and achieve lasting inner peace amidst the dynamic modern world.
