Abstract

The primary aim of this research is to examine the association between the psychological well-being of Generation Z students and their level of religiosity. There is a hypothesis that religiosity might influence psychological health, especially given societal pressures and rapid technological advancements. The study involved students from the Psychology Program at Lambung Mangkurat University's Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. The research methodology utilized a Likert scale questionnaire survey focusing on psychological well-being and religious perspectives. The results indicated a moderately positive correlation between psychological well-being and religiosity, suggesting that an increase in religiosity corresponded with improved psychological well-being. While acknowledging that various factors impact psychological well-being, these findings suggest that religiosity could play a role in enhancing mental health.
