Abstract

Character education in elementary-age children requires pedagogical instruments capable of balancing cognitive and spiritual aspects. One material that has significant potential yet is rarely explored is hadith mubham, hadiths in which the identity of the narrator or character remains anonymous. This article aims to analyze in depth the effectiveness of using hadith mubham in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah level through the perspective of SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats). This study employs a qualitative approach using the library research method. The findings indicate that hadith mubham possesses strategic advantages in instilling the value of sincerity and mitigating narcissistic tendencies in children. Although there are challenges related to methodological complexity and limited visual resources, optimizing the role of educators and utilizing information technology can transform these limitations into opportunities for strengthening spirituality. This article concludes that the quality of character education will improve significantly when hadith mubham is managed through appropriate pedagogical strategies oriented toward the substance of values.
