<![CDATA[Latar Belakang : Kejadian Ikutan Pasca Imunisasi (KIPI) adalah kejadian sakit atau kematian yang terjadi dalam 1 bulan setelah imunisasi, seperti setelah imunisasi DPT. KIPI dapat berupa reaksi pasca imunisasi, seperti peningkatan suhu tubuh atau bengkak di area suntikan, yang menunjukkan respons tubuh terhadap imunisasi. Di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Licin didapatkan data dengan kasus demam/peningkatan suhu badan pada anak setelah mendapatkan Imunisasi terdapat 34 kasus. Dan sebagian besar orang tua menangani demam pada anaknya pasca kipi imunisasi dengan cara di kompres dengan air dingin/hangat dan pemberian obat kimia. Pemberian kompres lidah buaya merupakan salah satu alternatif penanganan demam pada anak karena mengandung Saponin dan Lignin.Tujuan : Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Efektifitas Kompres Lidah Buaya Untuk Mengurangi Demam Pasca Imunisasi Dpt di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Licin Tahun 2024.Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan adalah quasy eksperimen dengan rancangan One group pre-test-post test design. Sampel penelitian sebesar 34 balita yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan ekslusi. Sebelum dan sesudah intervensi dilakukan pengukuran suhu tubuh balita dan dibandingkan intervensi pemberian kompres lidah buaya yang dilakukan 3 x 30 menit dalam 1 waktu.Hasil : Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa suhu tubuh balita sebelum intervensi terbanyak pada suhu 37,8 °C sebanyak 14 responden (41,2%), dan suhu tubuh balita setelah intervensi terbanyak 37,5 °C pada 12 responden (35,3%). Hasil statistik uji wilcoxon, didapatkan nilai sig. 0,000 α 0,05 artinya ada pengaruh pemberian kompres lidah buaya terhadap penurunan demam pasca imunisasi di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Licin Tahun 2024.Kesimpulan : Pemberian kompres lidah buaya terbukti bisa menurunkan suhu tubuh pada balita demam pasca imunisasi. Pihak orang tua bisa memberikan kompres lidah buaya pada balitanya yang demam pasca imunisasi sebagai pengobatan pertama sehingga orang tua memahami apa yang akan dilakukan jika anaknya mengalami demam pasca imunisasi.Saran : Melakukan kerjasama antara bidan dan ibu untuk dapat menerapkan kompres lidah buaya jika balita mengalami demam pasca Imunisasi DPT sehingga dapat mengurangi pemberian obat kimia terhadap balita. ABSTRACT Background : Post-Immunization Adverse Events (AEFI) are illnesses or deaths that occur within one month of immunization, such as after DPT immunization. AEFI can be a post-immunization reaction, such as an increase in body temperature or swelling at the injection site, indicating the body's response to the immunization. Data from the Licin Community Health Center (Puskesmas) showed 34 cases of fever/increased body temperature in children after immunization. Most parents treated their children's fever after immunization with cold/warm compresses and chemical medications. Aloe vera compresses are an alternative treatment for fever in children because they contain saponins and lignin.Objective : The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of aloe vera compresses in reducing post-DPT immunization fever in the Licin Community Health Center (Puskesmas) area in 2024.Method: This study used a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pre-test-post-test design. The sample size was 34 toddlers who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Before and after the intervention, the toddlers' body temperatures were measured, and a comparison was made between the intervention of aloe vera compresses administered three times for 30 minutes.Results : The study showed that the highest body temperature of toddlers before the intervention was 37.8°C in 14 respondents (41.2%), and the highest body temperature after the intervention was 37.5°C in 12 respondents (35.3%). The Wilcoxon test showed a significant value of 0.000 α 0.05, indicating that aloe vera compresses had an effect on reducing post-immunization fever in the Licin Community Health Center work area in 2024.Conclusion : Aloe vera compresses have been shown to reduce body temperature in toddlers with post-immunization fever. Parents can provide aloe vera compresses to their toddlers with post-immunization fever as a first-line treatment so that parents understand what to do if their child experiences a post-immunization fever.Suggestions: Collaboration between midwives and mothers is essential to apply aloe vera compresses to toddlers experiencing post-immunization fever, thereby reducing the need for chemical medications.
