Abstract

Character-based curriculum is an educational approach that not only focuses on enhancing students' academic abilities but also emphasizes the instillation of essential character values in daily life. Character education includes values such as honesty, discipline, responsibility, cooperation, empathy, respect, and social awareness, which must be integrated into every aspect of learning. The primary goal of this curriculum is to produce individuals who are not only intellectually capable but also possess high moral standards and good social skills. The development and implementation of a character-based curriculum require serious attention from various stakeholders, including teachers, parents, and the community. Its implementation involves the integration of character values into all subjects, extracurricular activities, and comprehensive evaluation of students' character development. Although there are challenges in its implementation, such as a lack of teacher understanding and limited school resources, effective collaboration between schools, families, and communities can support the successful achievement of character education goals.
