Abstract

Cleanliness is an important aspect of human life that has many impacts on life, but it also has spiritual value in Islam. It emphasizes the importance of maintaining cleanliness as part of faith, as stated in the Quran and Hadith. This article aims to examine the concept of cleanliness in Islam and how it is applied in daily life. The method used in this research is a literature study of Islamic sources, including Quranic verses, Hadith, and the opinions of scholars. The results of the study show that Islam teaches cleanliness in various aspects, such as personal hygiene, home, places of worship, and the surrounding environment, which have different impacts. Maintaining cleanliness can be done in various ways, such as throwing garbage in its place, keeping water clean, and avoiding soil and air pollution. By applying Islamic values in maintaining cleanliness, Muslims not only create a healthy environment, but also expect to be rewarded with the value of worship before Allah.
