Abstract

This study aims to quantify the amount and form of consumption of the population on instant noodles and cassavas in the city of Palembang. The sampling method used in this study is disproportioned statified random sampling on 90 households of observed farmers located on three research sites in Palembang. The analysis results indicate that each household in a month consumes instant noodles on high-income/upper-middle, middleincome and low-income are 2.99 kilograms, 3.33 kilogram, and 4.70 kilograms respectively. Two types of instant noodles are fried-noodles and gravy-noodles. Meanwhile for the cassavas consumptions for each household monthly are 5.35 kilograms, 1.76 kilograms and 20.20 kilograms for high-income/upper-middle, middle-income and lowincome respectively on two types of cassavas which are sweet potatoes and cassavas. Other types of cassavas are fresh-cassavas and processed-cassavas.

Abstract

The government's policy to revoke household electricity subsidies will have a direct impact on household expenditure, which in turn will also affect food consumption patterns. The purpose of this research is to analyze changes in household food consumption patterns as a result of the removal of electricity subsidies in Prabumulih City. This research was conducted in the City of Prabumulih, South Sumatra in March 2018 to September 2018. The method used in this study was a survey method by taking 100 households from a population of 56,003 households that had 900 VA of electric power taken in a simple random sampling. The results showed that there were significant differences between household food consumption patterns before and after the removal of electricity subsidies.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the contribution of business income from KWT Melati activities to household income in Gunung Ibul Village. This study uses qualitative data and quantitative data. The population in this study were housewives who are members of KWT Melati, a form of women's empowerment activities in Prabumulih City. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. Purposive Sampling is a sampling technique with certain considerations. The data analysis technique used in this study is Income Analysis and Percentage Descriptive Analysis. Based on the results, it can be concluded that there was a significant increase in income from TOGA at KWT Melati during the covid19 pandemic. However, the contribution of business income of KWT Melati members to the participant's household income was still lacking, one of which was due to the small business scale. Abstract

Trend yang sedang berkembang di masyarakat belakangan ini ialah masyarakat cenderung memilih untuk berkunjung ke objek wisata back to nature karena dapat menenangkan pikiran dari kegiatan sehari – hari apabila memiliki suasana alamiah. Hal inilah yang dipandang akan mejadi peluang, sehingga mulai banyak diusung destinasi wisata dengan konsep back to nature. Agrowisata adalah cara lain untuk mengembangkan pariwisata berkelanjutan di pedesaan. Desa Air Talas memiliki banyak potensi untuk dikembangkan, salah satunya adalah pertanian. Desa ini memiliki kurang lebih 100 ha kebun jeruk. Dalam beberapa tahun terakhir desa ini mulai dirintis sebagai desa agrowisata, akan tetapi masih terdapat beberapa keterbatasan sehingga potensi sebagai desa agrowisata kurang dapat dikembangkan secara optimal. Beberapa tujuan dalam kegiatan PKM ini adalah : 1) Meningkatkan pemasaran dan daya tarik wisatawan terhadap agrowisata berbasis jeruk di Desa Air Talas dengan media promosi menggunakan pemasaran digital melalui sosial media, 2) Meningkatkan nilai tambah dan nilai jual produk-produk hasil olahan jeruk di Desa Air Talas terutama dari segi pengemasan. Metode pelaksanaan PKM ini terdiri empat tahap, yaitu sosialisasi, penyuluhan dan praktik pemasaran digital melalui media sosial (Instagram), evaluasi, dan pengawasan (monitoring). Hasil dari kegiatan ini masyarakat mitra mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam mempromosikan desa mereka dalam rangka menarik minat wisatawan. Masyarakat mitra telah memiliki akun Instagram dan Facebook sebagai media promosi, serta keterampilan dalam membuat kemasan yang menarik untuk produk olahan jeruk yang dihasilkan.
