Abstract

The rapid development of information technology heavily encourages modern business actors to proactively utilize digital technology to effectively support various daily operational activities, including sales transactions. Currently, Toko Prima Nusantara still conducts its routine transactions and records data manually, which leads to various crucial operational obstacles such as recording errors, ineffective data management, and a highly time-consuming financial reporting process. Therefore, an integrated digital application is urgently required to help manage transactions much more quickly and efficiently. This academic study specifically aims to design an interactive, web-based cashier application for Toko Prima Nusantara by applying the reliable prototype development method. The designed application is systematically focused on assisting store personnel in managing product databases, sales transactions, real-time inventory stock recording, and automated sales reporting. In addition, the system fully supports modern non-cash payment recording, including the seamless integration of QRIS as one of the preferred payment methods for customers today. The comprehensive results of testing and evaluation clearly indicate that the developed web-based cashier application has proven capable of significantly accelerating the transaction process, minimizing recording errors, and simplifying inventory management. Thus, this digital system implementation is expected to optimize operational efficiency and enhance overall customer satisfaction amid tight business competition.
