Abstract

Collaboration between the fields of Public Health Nutrition and Architecture is essential for creating holistic solutions. Nutrition science provides substantive content regarding nutritional needs and developmental stimulation, while architecture transforms this content into spatial designs that are functional, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing, all while supporting health objectives. Integration with Green Open Spaces (GOS) can create a cooler microclimate, reduce stress for both caregivers and children, and serve as a medium for direct nature-based education. This research aims to explore a functional "Nutrition Corner" design prototype integrated with GOS, applying the theories of Behavioral Architecture and Biophilic Architecture. The study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative and quantitative data. Observational findings indicate that the desired *Posyandu* (Integrated Health Post) facility features a child-friendly layout prioritizing user safety and security, alongside spatial comfort regarding ventilation. Analysis of the *Posyandu* design models reveals that Model 1 is a simple design that fits the existing layout constraints while utilizing a semi-outdoor concept with natural ventilation. Model 2 features extensive window openings while still prioritizing natural lighting. Model 3 utilizes an artificial ventilation system—while maintaining natural lighting—and incorporates more advanced digital systems.
