Entrepreneurial readiness is widely recognized as an essential competency for vocational high school students to successfully pursue entrepreneurial careers after graduation. Nevertheless, the proportion of graduates who choose entrepreneurship remains relatively limited, indicating the need to strengthen students' preparedness through effective entrepreneurship education. This study examines the effect of Entrepreneurship Education on Entrepreneurial Readiness while investigating the mediating role of Individual Entrepreneurial Orientation among students of SMK Negeri 1 Tasikmalaya. A quantitative approach with a descriptive-verificative design was employed. Data were collected from 136 students selected through simple random sampling and analyzed using descriptive statistics together with Hayes' PROCESS Macro Model 4 employing a bootstrapping procedure. The findings reveal that Entrepreneurship Education, Individual Entrepreneurial Orientation, and Entrepreneurial Readiness are all categorized at a high level. Furthermore, Entrepreneurship Education exerts a positive and significant influence on both Individual Entrepreneurial Orientation and Entrepreneurial Readiness. Individual Entrepreneurial Orientation also demonstrates a positive contribution to Entrepreneurial Readiness and partially mediates the relationship between Entrepreneurship Education and Entrepreneurial Readiness. These findings suggest that entrepreneurship learning designed to provide meaningful learning experiences can foster students' entrepreneurial orientation while simultaneously enhancing their readiness to establish future entrepreneurial careers.
