Abstract

Some coastal areas of Karawang Regency are affected by severe coastal erosion. This condition worsens the socio-economic life of coastal communities in Karawang Regency, particularly those in remote areas, amidst their relatively poor conditions. For this reason, Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang and other universities held community service activities in the form of social service involving students. The social service was held on Saturday, October 12, 2024. This activity employs an observational socialization method to arouse students' concern to pay attention to the lives of remote coastal communities in Karawang Regency. As a result, this activity was successful due to the support of the Pasirjaya Village Government apparatus and local community leaders.

Abstract

A tax consultant is a professional who provides consulting, planning, advisory, and representation services to taxpayers—whether individuals or business entities—to help them fulfill their tax obligations in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Consequently, a community service team from Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang deemed it important to disseminate information about the tax consulting profession to students across all faculties at the university. The activity was conducted using an outreach method. Held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, the event was attended by roughly 50 students. The activity proved beneficial to the students, particularly by broadening their understanding of the tax consulting profession. To prepare for a career as tax consultants, students must equip themselves by enhancing their digital skills, deepening their understanding of regulations, and participating in certification training.
