Abstract

STEAM-based e-module on the topic Oh, the Environment Is Being Destroyed and to assess the feasibility of the resulting product. The method used was Research and Development (R&D) based on the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This study was conducted with fifth-grade students in Class V-A at SDN Tarikolot 01. Data collection tThis study was motivated by students’ low critical thinking skills in IPAS (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) lessons and the suboptimal use of teaching media that could actively engage students in the learning process. The study aimed to develop aechniques included observation, interviews, validation questionnaires, and tests. The validation results showed that the developed e-module was categorized as “highly valid,” with evaluation percentages of 90% from subject-matter expert lecturers, 98% from subject-matter expert teachers, 98.5% from language experts, and 99.5% from media experts. The effectiveness test results showed an improvement in students’ critical thinking skills, as indicated by an average pre-test score of 80.28 and a post-test score of 92.08, with an N-Gain value of 0.60, which falls into the “Moderate” category. These results indicate that the E-Module has met the feasibility criteria in terms of content, language, and media and is effective for use in learning. Thus, the STEAM-based E-Module on the topic Oh, the Environment Is Being Destroyed is suitable for use as a supplementary teaching medium in IPAS learning for students' critical thinking skills.
