Abstract

Collaboration is an important skill for students to support the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile, especially the element of mutual cooperation, but in reality the collaboration skills of fourth-grade elementary school students in Pancasila Education learning are still relatively low due to teacher-centered learning and the lack of interactive media. This study aims to improve the collaboration skills of fourth-grade elementary school students through the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by Wordwall media. The study used a mixed method approach in the form of Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was carried out in two cycles, with 27 fourth-grade students of SDN Ploso V/176, Surabaya City as subjects. Data were collected through observation and documentation sheets, then analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results showed that the implementation of the PjBL model increased from 83% in Cycle I to 91% in Cycle II, while the average collaboration skills of students increased from 65% to 73%. This increase was seen from the increase in students' abilities in positive mutual independence, active involvement, responsibility, and separation in groups. It can be concluded that the implementation of the PjBL model assisted by Wordwall is effective in improving the collaboration skills of fourth grade elementary school students through active, interactive, and meaningful learning.
