Abstract

Manual inventory management risks various challenges, such as errors in stock recording, delays in reporting, and difficulty obtaining real-time inventory availability information. Aulia Minimarket Weleri also experienced these issues, necessitating the need for an information system capable of improving the effectiveness and efficiency of inventory management. This research aims to design and develop a web-based inventory information system to support the management of inventory data, incoming stock, outgoing stock, supplier data, and inventory reporting. The development method used was Rapid Application Development (RAD), which includes the stages of Requirements Planning, User Design, Construction, and Cutover. The system was built using the Laravel framework with a MySQL database, while testing was conducted using the Black Box Testing method to ensure each function met user requirements. The results showed that the developed system was able to integrate inventory data management, present stock information more accurately, expedite the process of recording incoming and outgoing goods, and generate reports automatically. Based on the testing results, all system features functioned well and met user needs. Therefore, this web-based inventory information system can be a solution to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and accuracy of inventory management at Aulia Minimarket Weleri
