Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a public health problem that requires timely, accurate, and integrated recording and reporting. At Kebonjati Hospital, DHF case reporting still relies on Microsoft Excel and separate documents, which may lead to duplicate data entry, reporting delays, and difficulties in monitoring case trends and geographical distribution. This study aimed to design a DHF Reporting Information System using the Agile method with map and graph visualization features. A qualitative approach was employed using observation, interviews, and document review to identify user requirements and support system design. The system was developed through the requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and review stages using Visual Studio 2026, VB.NET, Microsoft Access, GMap.NET, and LiveCharts. The resulting system integrates patient, physician, laboratory, Integrated Patient Progress Notes (CPPT), fogging, and DHF reporting data within a single application. The system also provides a dashboard, graphical visualization of case trends, and a map showing the geographical distribution of cases based on patient locations. Black Box Testing demonstrated that all major system functions, including data management, reporting, map visualization, and graph visualization, operated according to the defined functional requirements. The developed system can serve as a supporting tool for recording, reporting, and monitoring DHF cases at Kebonjati Hospital.
