Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively analyze the implementation of the PAI curriculum based on deep learning and its contribution to realizing meaningful learning. The study used a qualitative approach with a library research design through a critical review of books, reputable scientific journal articles, and relevant curriculum policy documents. Data were analyzed using content analysis and thematic analysis techniques, applying source triangulation to maintain the validity of the findings. The results of the study indicate that the integration of deep learning principles in the PAI curriculum can encourage the simultaneous involvement of students’ cognitive, affective, and psychomotor skills, so that Islamic values are not only understood conceptually but also internalized in attitudes and behavior. This approach has been proven to strengthen higher-order thinking skills, religious character, and the ability to transfer learning in responding to contemporary issues.
