Abstract

This study investigates the causes of inheritance disputes in Fak-Fak Regency using a normative-empirical methodology. Normative analysis focuses on relevant inheritance laws, while empirical data, gathered through case studies and interviews, identifies contributing factors such as unclear property division, inter-heir conflicts, and limited public legal awareness. The study recommends creating more specific local regulations and implementing legal education programs to mitigate future disputes.
