Abstract

Firm value is an important indicator that reflects market perceptions of a company's performance and future prospects. This study aims to examine the effects of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) disclosure, profitability, and firm size on firm value and to investigate the moderating role of green innovation in energy-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2019–2025 period. This study employs a quantitative approach using panel data regression analysis. The sample was selected through purposive sampling, resulting in 10 companies and 70 firm-year observations. Secondary data were obtained from annual reports, sustainability reports, and capital market data sources. The results indicate that profitability has a positive and statistically significant effect on firm value, whereas ESG disclosure and firm size have no statistically significant effects on firm value. Furthermore, green innovation does not significantly moderate the relationships between ESG disclosure, profitability, or firm size and firm value. These findings indicate that profitability remains an important factor associated with the firm value of energy-sector companies, while ESG disclosure, firm size, and the moderating role of green innovation do not demonstrate statistically significant effects within the sample and study period.
